The Canada Excellence Research Chair (CERC) in Light–Matter Interactions and the Institut Courtois are pleased to announce that Professor Carlos Silva will participate as an Invited Speaker at the 4th Workshop on Molecular Quantum Technologies (MQT 2026), taking place from December 14–18, 2026, in Puerto Varas, Chile.
MQT 2026 will bring together leading researchers from across physics, chemistry, and materials science to explore how molecules and molecular materials can enable new advances in quantum technologies. The workshop will feature discussions on both fundamental science and emerging applications, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration among established scientists and early-career researchers.
Professor Silva’s participation highlights the contributions of the CERC in Light–Matter Interactions and Institut Courtois to advancing research at the intersection of materials science, photonics, and quantum technologies.
Hosted in the scenic lakefront city of Puerto Varas, the workshop continues a successful series of international meetings dedicated to the rapidly evolving field of molecular quantum technologies.
