Collaboration: The Key to Scientific Advancement

The Canada Excellence Research Chair in Light-Matter Interactions is committed to delivering new fundamental knowledge of complex quantum dynamics relevant to quantum photonics in a variety of materials that span the spectrum of optical properties, which makes that render them candidates for quantum technologies. This program advances transformative and enabling technologies that will support a technologically advanced economy and society.

To achieve our goals, the CERC team collaborates with local and international experts, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas. We aspire to make a meaningful scientific impact within the Montreal, Quebec, Canadian and international communities. Achieving this impact requires breaking down barriers and collaborating closely with diverse scientific cultures and traditions.

To reach the community, our work will be disseminated through scientific conferences and peer-reviewed papers, as well as active participation in activities aimed at engaging the general public.
