The Canada Excellence Research Chair in Light-Matter Interactions (CERC-LM) is pleased to announce that Carlos Silva Acuña, Professor at Université de Montréal, Director of the Institut Courtois, and holder of the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Light-Matter Interactions, has been invited to deliver a plenary lecture as part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the Centro de Física Aplicada y Tecnología Avanzada (CFATA) at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
The event will take place April 5–8 in Querétaro, Mexico, bringing together researchers and experts from physics, materials science, and emerging technologies to celebrate 25 years of scientific excellence at CFATA.
Professor Silva was invited in recognition of his contributions to the study of advanced materials, ultrafast and nonlinear spectroscopy, quantum dynamics, and light-matter interactions. His plenary lecture will provide an opportunity to share recent advances in these fields with the broader scientific community and to strengthen international research connections between Canada and Mexico.
The CERC-LM community is honored by this invitation and looks forward to contributing to this important milestone for CFATA and UNAM.
