Members of the Canada Excellence Research Chair (CERC) in Light–Matter Interactions will participate in the Summer School on Advanced Materials 2026, organized by the Regroupement Québécois des Matériaux de Pointe (RQMP) and the Académie en Matériaux Avancés (AMA).
Taking place from August 12 to 14, 2026, at Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke, this Summer School is open to RQMP students as well as students working in materials science and related fields. The event offers a unique opportunity to explore cutting-edge research in advanced materials through scientific presentations, workshops, and discussions led by academic and industry experts.
Registration
Spaces are limited, and early registration is encouraged.
Participants may cancel their registration and receive a full refund if the cancellation is made before the registration deadline of June 23, 2026. Refunds cannot be guaranteed after this date.
Networking and Student Presentation Competition
In addition to the scientific program, the Summer School includes networking activities that bring together students, researchers, and industry representatives from across Québec.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a Student Presentation Competition, a valuable occasion to develop scientific communication skills and compete for a cash prize of $360 CAD.
