Optical Frequency Combs: Sensitivity Enhancement Through Quantum Advantage – Jérôme Genest

November 6 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

The Canada Excellence Research Chair in Light-Matter Interactions (CERC-LM) is pleased to highlight an upcoming seminar in the Department of Physics at the Université de Montréal.

On November 6, 2026, Jérôme Genest, Professor at Université Laval, will present a talk titled“Optical Frequency Combs: Sensitivity Enhancement Through Quantum Advantage” as part of the Department’s Friday Physics Colloquium series.

Optical frequency combs have become powerful tools for precision measurements, spectroscopy, and metrology. In this lecture, Professor Genest will discuss recent advances in the field and explore how quantum-enhanced approaches can improve sensitivity and measurement capabilities.(This sentence is a general description based on the title; the event listing does not provide an abstract.)
