DESCRIPTION:The Canada Excellence Research Chair (CERC) in Light–Matter Interactions will be represented at the 13th International Conference of the African Materials Research Society (AMRS 2026)\, taking place in Nairobi\, Kenya\, from December 7–10\, 2026. The conference is expected to bring together researchers\, innovators\, and industry leaders from around the world to discuss advances in materials science and technology. \n\nProfessor Carlos Silva has been invited to contribute to the scientific program as an invited speaker\, recognizing his internationally renowned expertise in advanced materials and optoelectronics.
